Music Room


The current owners at La Torre are active in the music community in the San Ramon area.


In addition to playing in low brass ensembles and participating in community chorus, they also bring in area musicians from time to time to practice or jam.

Outdoor Activities Area


Located above the Colibri/Rana duplex and on the top of our property is a groomed outdoor activities area providing space for badminton, croquet, lawn darts, archery, and other leisure activities.


A sister property, Vientos Bajos, has various outdoor games and sports equipment for use in our Outdoor Activities area, too.


Communal Areas at Vientos Bajos


Just across the road from Jardin La Torre is a sister property called Vientos Bajos, which houses a variety of areas for recreation, activities, and events.


Tenants of Jardin La Torre are eligible for free use of these areas of Vientos Bajos during open hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week).


All tenants will be on the invitation list for special events at the Vientos Bajos activities center; a fee will be charged for those events.


Book collection at La Torre, Costa Rica

Vientos Bajos Library DVD, and CD collection


Over the past three years, Vientos Bajos has purchased or been gifted more than 1,000 books, 500 DVDs, 300 CDs (including 20 audio books), and many picture puzzles.


All these items are available for use by the tenants of Jardin La Torre.


Up to five books, CDs, and DVDs are available for check out at a time. The signout period for books is 30 days; CDs and DVDs may be checked out for up to five days.


For picture puzzles, there is a take one/leave one policy.


An Honor System signout sheet is available for all library resources.

pickleball doubles in Costa Rica

Vientos Bajos Pickleball


Invented in 1965, pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong.

It's played indoors and out using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. Pickleball can be played as doubles or singles by players of all ages and skill levels.


This entertainment center debuted in the summer of 2017. Court space is being used for pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. Use of the facility runs from dawn until dusk and is free for tenants.
